Sad thing is, some of those new shows that only last a week or two, have a good premise, they just weren't done as well as they should have been.

Makes me wonder sometimes about the talents of those individuals who develop, approve, and promote these shows . . . can' t they see a dead turkey when it's in their lap?

I think the strike played a major factor in this season's...um... shortcomings. There just wasn't enough time for them to fully develop the concepts with the abbreviated pilot season. Should be some pretty decent midseason offerings though and I have high hopes for next season!
